BEGINNERS KICKBOXING

Our Camden Valley Beginners Kickboxing classes will have a strong emphasis on the fundamental techniques and physical attributes of a kickboxer.

In these classes, you will learn a variety of punches and kicks, footwork, and attacking and defensive techniques/combinations. Our focus will be for the participants to become comfortable/confident in dealing with punches/kicks coming their way.

The class will consist of the same methods that have been used by our high-level athletes on the world stage.

Kickboxing is a great physical activity to improve physical fitness, mobility, power, hand-eye coordination and overall confidence to defend yourself.

Classes will begin with some mobility and light movements that will loosen and warm up the body. You will then do drills that are kickboxing-specific. While doing this your physical attributes will improve as the whole purpose of the drills will be to improve throwing harder and faster kicks/punches, and also improve fundamental defence and agility.

This program is a great physical activity. The focus will be on learning to defend yourself, and building overall fitness while having some fun.
